If you like to be surrounded by people and don’t want to spend too much money, the advice is to go to Khao San Road, one of Bangkok’s nightlife hotspots.

It is located in Rattanakosin district and in recent years, this road has become a favorite destination for young people and backpackers. In fact, it is the ideal area to find hostels, bed and breakfasts and cheap hotels.

Perhaps the best part is the street-food stalls where you can buy pad thai, noodles, roti, papaya salad and very tasty cocktails. The prices are really low but the quality remains high.

On Khao San Road, you will find nightclubs, bars and small restaurants that are always crowded on New Year’s Eve, Christmas and Songkran, the Thai New Year. Where travelers of all nationalities mix with the loud decibels of the many bars in a joyful festive din.
